As we continue to strengthen and streamline our financial operations in Germany and Austria, we are looking to hire a skilled finance professional to support our expansion and ensure compliance across the group.

💼 POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller – DACH Region to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB & IFRS)

• Leading and coordinating month-end closings, including inventory and accrual reporting

• Performing variance analyses, forecasts, and performance reports

• Managing intercompany reconciliations and payment processes

• Preparing and monitoring budgets in collaboration with hotels and departments

• Overseeing audits and ensuring legal and tax compliance in Germany and Austria

• Acting as the main point of contact for finance and tax matters internally and externally

• Supporting M&A projects and financial decision-making through KPI analysis

• Optimizing financial processes and ensuring timely, high-quality reporting

• Participating in cross-functional projects and supporting portfolio transitions

👨‍💼 DESIRED PROFILE:

• Required degree: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field

• Desired experience: Several years in a similar role, ideally in the hospitality industry or a multi-entity environment

• Technical skills: Strong knowledge of HGB & IFRS; solid command of financial reporting tools and ERP systems (SAP-like); excellent Excel skills

• Personal qualities: Analytical mindset, structured approach, strong communication skills, initiative, and a collaborative attitude

• Languages: Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

• Mobility: Willingness to travel occasionally; regular presence (2–3 days/week) required in either Kiel or Madrid office
